Pre-Professional Summer Intensive

Alouettes’ 2022 Summer Intensive is designed to train dancers for a Pre-Professional Program

Our Intensive Pre-Professional Program is designed for dancers 6 years of age and older that are interested in taking their training to the next level.
With emphasis in: 
Ballet: Variations, Pointe and Neoclassical Work (student will learn 2 variations from classical and neoclassical works en pointe and/or flat)
Limon Technique
Horton Technique
Jazz: Classic, Commercial and Latin

This program has been developed to shape and prepare our students for a career as a Dancer.
From strong technique to choreography and improv, our curriculum will go from A to Z in the most important areas of Dance training.
NOTE: This program is designed for experienced dancers only. 
During these 2 weeks, Dancers will will have the opportunity to further their technique and artistry making a faster progression. The main focus and intensity of the program will be geared towards professional training under the instruction of top notch Faculty.

Elite dancers are highly encourage to participate. Required for Company Dancers !

Meet the Faculty

Mary Sanchez
Artistic Director, Alouettes Academy and Miami Young Dancers. NWSA Graduate. Has had the opportunity to perform in classical and neoclassical works by Gerard Ebitz, Michael Uthoff, Mia Michaels, Rosita Segovia, Mariana Alvarez, Judith Newman, Merce Cunnigham, among others in the US and overseas. Mary has choreographed many classical and contemporary works and has had the opportunity to direct pre-professional and professional shows. ​​

Natalie Chil
Natalie Chil, former dance Captain of Vibe Dance Company at Robert Morgan high school has appeared on the the famous TV show “La Banda” and has had the honor to be apart of upcoming artist, John Luis’s Music video. Natalie began performing at the age of 5 and has transitioned to choreographing and teaching at Alouettes Dance Academy of the Arts.

Jackie Lopez
Jacqueline Lopez, a native of Miami, FL, has a B.F.A in dance from New World School of the Arts, where she has had the opportunity to perform in works by Gerard Ebitz and Merce Cunningham as well as have her choreographic work Malki, showcased at the Perez Art Museum Miami. She is currently on staff at Alouettes Academy of the Arts as a ballet, jazz, and tap instructor.

This Program has limited space.

July 25th  – July 29th
Session 2
August 1st  - 5th
Classes will be from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm

Tuition:

$250* per week

*10 % Discount provided for additional siblings in the same household
