+ R stands for Positive Reinforcement. Instead of concentrating on mistakes, our teachers emphasize on what your child is doing right, and inspire them to continue to grow. This approach helps the child feel better about him/herself and opens a channel of communication and rapport that can almost guaranty their success in class.

+ E stands for Positive Environment. At Alouettes Academy of the Arts, we always make the extra effort to ensure that our academy is a comfortable, welcoming and friendly place for our students and families. We strive to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for our students to be themselves and to promote long lasting friendships.

+ D stands for Positive Discipline. We based our discipline on mutual respect. Instead of shouting or using negative language, our teachers foster cooperation creating an atmosphere that enhances learning. For us, positive discipline is about providing our students with important social and emotional skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

- Believe that a TV show about "Dance" defines how a Dance (or music) academy should impart education.
- Believe that they are already "too good" to keep learning and growing as an artist.
