Please read, complete and submit the Summer Production Agreement below
Summer Production Agreement
The following are policies necessary for a successful summer production. It is of the utmost importance that each performer and parent read and understands the agreement before making a decision to participate on Alouettes Academy summer production. Once you make the decision to participate, you will be expected to abide by the following rules:
Alouettes Academy students participating in the summer production and their families must commit to attend classes, rehearsals, and performances.
TUITION/FEES
Tuition and all fees must be up to date in order to participate in classes, rehearsals and the summer production.
CLASS/REHEARSAL ABSENCES
Total allowed absences prior to production date: Six (6). It is imperative that dancers attend group classes regularly and rehearsals. Choreography, formations, synchronization, and all other components of the routine can only be properly rehearsed with all dancers in the piece.
Number of absences allowed two months prior to a performance: Two (2). You’re allowed to make up absences in a private lesson with your choreographer.
Additional tuition applies to private classes. The cost for private lessons is as follows: Private lesson $29 per half hour, 2-3 dancers $20 each per one hour, 4 or more dancers $15.00 each per one hour.
When a performer has missed seven (7) classes, he or she forfeits placement on the performance. If a performer forfeits placement on the performance, the cost for performing, costumes, tuition, production package and other expenses will not be reimbursed.
Parents must call/email/text to notify the academy of an absence prior to the missed class.
REHEARSAL PRIOR TO PERFORMANCE
Dancers and Actors must be available for extra practices prior to a performance if necessary. All performers must attend rehearsal the week prior to summer production.
If a performer fails to attend rehearsal and/or Dressed rehearsal the week before summer production, he or she will forfeit placement on the performance.
COSTUMES
Parents must include/select the size of the costume. If a performer is in between sizes, you should choose the larger size (as it is easier to alter, whereas a small costume cannot be altered or exchanged). If the costume needs alterations, it is the parents responsibility.
Costume pieces cannot be replaced if lost. Only entire costumes can be ordered in the event of a misplaced item. Please be aware that the ship date for costumes is approximately 12 weeks after the order date.
Performers must have all costume pieces, shoes, makeup, hair accessories, and hairstyle to perform. If a performer is missing any of the prior mentioned items, he or she will not perform in that routine. Costuming is a part of the production. This includes runs/holes in tights, and messy hair or hairstyles that fall out of place.
