🕒 Competition Day Flow (What to Expect)
For many of our new competition families, here is how a typical competition day usually works.

1️⃣ Arrival - Dancers arrive at the venue with hair and makeup already done.
2️⃣ Check In - We locate our team area and organize costumes and bags.
3️⃣ Warm Up - Teachers will lead dancers through stretching and technique warm ups.
4️⃣ Run the Routine - Dancers may run their routine once or twice before performing.
5️⃣ Stage Time - Dancers line up backstage and perform their routine.
6️⃣ Awards - Awards are announced after each category.
7️⃣ Team Support - We stay to cheer on our teammates and celebrate together.
💜 Alouettes Team Spirit

We strongly encourage dancers to attend the entire weekend, even when they are not performing.
Supporting teammates helps build:
• Confidence
• Team bonding
• Encouragement
Hearing their teammates cheering for them from the audience gives them confidence and energy on stage.
One of the most special things about our company is the love and support the dancers show for one another.
📣 Competition Etiquette (For Dancers & Families)
To help keep our team environment positive and professional:
Dancers:
• Stay with the team
• Listen to teachers and chaperones
• Be respectful backstage
• Cheer for teammates
Parents:
• Please allow teachers to handle dancer preparation backstage
• Encourage and support all dancers
• Help maintain a positive team atmosphere• Please refrain from using noise makers or banners, as they are prohibited by PAC.
• When seated in the audience, please do not stand or walk around looking for seats while a performance is taking place, as this may block or disrupt the view of other parents and audience members watching their dancers perform.
• Please maintain positive and respectful comments for all dances being performed.

Remember: We are one team.
👟 Parent Tip

Competition weekends are long.
Parents should wear:
✔ Comfortable clothes
✔ Comfortable shoes
There may be times where we:
• Sit on floors
• Move between stages
• Stay for long periods.

Please keep in mind that any form of VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHY is strictly prohibited by PAC, if an audience member is caught taking pictures or filming we will be automatically disqualify from the entire competition.
We are so proud of all our dancers and the hard work they have put into this season.

Let's make this weekend full of:
💜 Team spirit
💜 Confidence
💜 Encouragement
💜 Amazing performances
Let the competition season begin!
