On behalf of Alouettes Dance Company, we are thrilled to extend an invitation for you to audition for the upcoming season!
Our dance team is known for its exceptional talent, dedication, and passion for dance. We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic dancers like you to join our team for the new season.

The audition will take place on May 28th at 7:00pm. Please come prepared to showcase your dance skills and bring your own music or props, if needed. The audition will consist of a ballet class followed by a contemporary and jazz routines to then present a 1 minute solo in the style of your choosing. We encourage you to bring your best performance and show us why you would be a great fit for our dance team.

The Alouettes Dance Company (ADC) program focuses on educating young people to strive for their personal best in anything they want to accomplish. We have a conservatory style approach, which offers numerous benefits:

• Intensive training: We provide a high level of training that focuses on technical excellence, artistic expression, and performance skills. Dancers receive rigorous instruction and practice opportunities that help them hone their dance skills and reach their full potential as performers.
• Focus on technique: Technique is a crucial aspect of dance, and in a conservatory style dance team we prioritize the development of strong technique in various dance styles. Dancers receive specialized training in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, and other dance genres, which helps them build a solid foundation of technical skills that can be applied to different dance forms.
• Performance opportunities: We offer numerous performance opportunities, including showcases, concerts, competitions, and collaborations with other arts organizations. These opportunities allow dancers to gain valuable stage experience and develop their performance abilities in front of live audiences.
• Artistic exploration: We encourage artistic exploration and creativity, allowing dancers to develop their own unique artistic voices. Dancers may have opportunities to create their own choreography, explore improvisation, and collaborate with other dancers and artists, fostering their creativity and self-expression.
• Mentorship and guidance: Our team is led by experienced dance instructors and professionals who provide mentorship and guidance to the dancers. We offer feedback, support, and guidance to help dancers improve their skills, overcome challenges, and achieve their dance goals.
